INCONET-GCC2 Hosts International Conference on “EU-GCC Research & Innovation cooperation: The way forward” in Brussels

The INCONET-GCC2 project organized its 2nd International Conference entitled “EU-GCC Research & Innovation cooperation: The way forward” on 29 November 2016 at the Metropole Hotel in Brussels.

The conference focused on exploring the way forward in R&I cooperation between EU and GCC countries with emphasis on 3 interconnected axes: i) Supporting bi-regional R&I policy dialogue, ii) Capacity building needs and opportunities in the GCC region, and iii) Enhancing R&I cooperation between relevant stakeholders including existing EU Networks and the research and business communities. The international conference gathered approximately 100 key R&I actors from both the EU and GCC who actively contributed in the deliberations of the Conference across 5 separate but interlinked sessions. The List of Participants can be downloaded here
