The conference aims to result in a number of concrete conclusions on strengths and weaknesses in the GCC-countries in this area.

The scope of the session will be the presentation of the initial results of INCONET-GCC with specific focus to the ICT research that is one of the major priorities in the region.

The 1st External Advisory Committee meeting was organized together with the 1st Executive Board Meeting and in parallel with the 1st INCO Conference “Supporting Research Integration” in Athens.

The External Advisory Committee will be chartered with helping to steer INCONET-GCC key goals and indicating how the project can leverage networks and outcomes of pertinent initiatives.

The launching event of INCONET-GCC project that was open to the different local stakeholders took place in Abu Dhabi
